But the distinguishing factor between banks is its level of service to the customer. Whether it is a loan decision or the processing of your bank statement, all of the decisions and services of the Security Bank are generated by your talented local bank staff in a prompt, fair, and professional manner. Because of this, at Security Bank of Southwest Missouri it is our desire and expectation that each and every customer will benefit from our staff's expertise, knowledge, courtesy, and friendliness.
Effective December 29, 2014 - To combat debit card fraud,
Security Bank has partnered with SHAZAM, our electronic funds transfer network,
to implement a monitoring system. SHAZAM R.A.D.A.R. will monitor debit
card transactions against fraudulent activity. If suspicious activity is
detected on your debit card, you will be contacted by Security Bank of
Southwest Missouri or a SHAZAM fraud Specialist calling on our behalf, to
verify the transactions in question. They will NOT ask questions about your financial
identity, your debit card number or personal identification number (PIN) to
verify your identity. They will simply ask if you have made the purchases
that have been detected as abnormal for your typical purchasing patterns.
To ensure that your phone number is correct, please contact the bank if you
have changed your phone number in the last year. Please feel free to
contact the bank's bookkeeping department if you have any questions about the
SHAZAM R.A.D.A.R. Program.
Mobile Banking Now Available
Security Bank of Southwest Missouri is now proud to offer Mobile Banking to our customers. If you have Online Banking, and either an Android Phone, or an iPhone, you can download our app and access it today. Just go to either the Google Play Store for your Android phone, or the App Store for your iPhone, type in SBSWMO and you will see our app. You can check balances, transfer money, even pay your bills through Bill Pay all form your phone. You must be signed up for Online Banking to have access to Mobile Banking. If you are not signed up for Online Banking, just stop by any of our 3 locations and we would be happy to sign you up. For any new customers that sign up for Online Banking, you will need to log in for the first time on a PC. If you have any questions, please contact us at 417-847-4794.
Notice to all Debit Card Customers
As a way to protect your debit card and fight against debit card fraud, effective May 1st, 2014, all debit card activity outside the United States will be blocked. If you are traveling outside of the United States, please contact the bank at 417-847-4790 so we can place a temporary allowance of transactions on your card. Also please contact us with any other questions.
